About the Club

As a player and a person we want to DEVELOP integrity, honesty, and respect. As coaches, we BUILD the lacrosse skills and further your knowledge of the game. Together, we will ELEVATE the game on the west coast while providing an environment for the individual to become a team.

Noemi Hites and Dearborn David found a similar passion while coaching together at Monte Vista High, women’s lacrosse. Not only do both players have a competitive heart, but cannot see life without this game. Considering this passion, they decided to turn a dream into reality by bringing the game of lacrosse to girls all over the Bay Area. They are bringing a reality that they could only dream of as high school players. The heart of this program was established to expand the game of lacrosse and provide a positive learning environment to girls of all ages. They want to provide a service that was not available to them when they grew up. The lacrosse community demanded more lacrosse outlets; Noemi and Dearborn have committed to passing on their own experiences and increasing the level of play on the west coast. This high school club team has been established to give back to the community of lacrosse.

Triple Threat Services in a Nutshell

Triple Threat Travel Team

This team is highly competitive and geared toward athletes that want to be recruited for Division I, II, and III schools.  Each practice is intense and the coaches require high levels of dedication on and off the field.  Team divisions will vary each season.  There will be graduation year specific teams as well as mixed teams, depending on the upcoming tournament.  Dearborn and Noemi coach these teams with other ex-collegiate players.

Summer:

This season is more compact and more intense than fall.  There are at least five possible recruiting tournaments to attend.  All of these are traveling tournaments back east.  The season usually lasts from late May until the end of July with 15-20 practices.  Practices are usually in the late afternoons or evenings.

Fall:

This season is less intense with practices once or twice a week.  We try to keep everything on Sundays or weekends to prevent conflicts with other sports.  This season starts in September and goes through January.  There are one or two traveling tournaments to the east coast.  There are two or three local tournaments and scrimmages scheduled periodically throughout the 15-20 practices.  Practice times usually run in the early afternoon.

Please view our Tryouts/Registration and Tournament page for more details pertaining to each season

Whippet Lacrosse

Two separate groups, one for high school and one for middle school.
This league is for those who want to improve their lacrosse skills and gain more experience on the field.  It is less competitive than our recruiting based travel team called Triple Threat.  These weekly sessions help girls practice on a more consistent basis instead of the once a year camp.  Possible invitations for local tournaments and Playdays may be available.  Coaches are TBA.

Financial Aid Possibilities:

We offer various types of financial aid.  There are 2 scholarships
available as well as parent involvement in exchange for membership
dues.  Please email us at triplethreatlax@yahoo.com if you are interested.
