FAQ's

Q. What is the commitment level?
A . We ask that each player commits to every practice, scrimmage
and least 2 tournaments. Nothing is mandatory - we want dedicated
players and we feel that we should not have to make rules for you to
show up. It’s simple: the more lacrosse you play the better you get.
We are looking for athletes that are committed to a team and
improving their lacrosse skills. IF YOU ARE NOT DEDICATED, DON’T
COME!

Q. Can I be part of another lacrosse club team?
A . No, you can’t be a member of two different club teams during a
given season. It complicates matters for the organizers of each club,
leaving them to wonder which team the player is committed to
attending on a regular basis.  Therefore, no dual lacrosse club team
memberships will be allowed.

Q. What does my tuition pay for?
A . The tuition paid includes practices, scrimmages, and coaching.
This is better than a four day camp, because it keeps girls playing all-
year round.  We keep a 10:1 ratio for players to coaches. The full price
breakdown includes payment for coaching, field lining, field rental,
equipment (balls and cages), insurance, referees, and other
miscellaneous expenses. Tournament fees are not included.

Q. Does each team get the same attention?
A . There will be at least two coaches at every practice, keeping a 10:1
ratio. The teams are formed by skill level. When we attend recruiting-
specific tournaments, teams will be adjusted accordingly a few
practices beforehand. Each team receives generally the same
practice plan, but most definitely learns the same concepts.

Q. Can my daughter have the chance to move up?
A . We understand tryouts do not always show the player’s best
abilities, therefore, we may adjust players as we see fit during the
length of the club season. This includes moving players from the
Varsity team to the JV team as well.

Q. Is it not better to have the less skilled athletes playing with the
more skilled athletes?
A . When running a practice it is important to create a higher level of
play. Each team has a consistency level that needs to be achieved. If
less skilled athletes play with more skilled athletes, they tend to
create less consistency and less fluidity among the drills. This is the
difficulty of finding a balance in a player and among which team they
fit. The idea is that similar skill levels learn similar concepts and can
improve to a higher level together.  We will mix practices and
combine teams to create opportunity for less-skilled players to
experience the higher level.

Q. How much do tournaments cost?
A . Tournaments vary depending on location. Considering most
valuable tournaments are presented on the East Coast, most
tournaments will range between $650 and $750 depending on flights
and other variables.  Our goal is to provide the best learning
environment for these girls and give them great experiences.  East
coast games are the best we can offer them.
